NuiCent M4 31YZ Generator — Premium Builder Pack
NuiCent M4 31YZ Builder Pack — the current FinishedNew M4 digital prototype package by Will Cole, focused on the lightweight 16 × 31YZ configuration.
The M4 uses four arms with 4 × 31YZ units per arm, for 16 units total. The preferred arrangement is a symmetric 2 clockwise + 2 counter-clockwise set within each four-unit group to reduce net gyroscopic reaction torque while retaining the radial loads from the rotating masses.
What you receive
- Current NuiCent M4 FinishedNew STEP assembly.
- Editable Shapr3D project.
- DXF reference for the two-level main-belt route.
- STL/reference print files derived from the current M4 release.
- Illustrated build, belt-route and Positive Lock manual.
- N20 floating/freewheel centre-drive source files.
31YZ configuration
- 16 × 31YZ units — 4 per arm × 4 arms.
- Project reference: approximately 160 g per 31YZ, about 2.56 kg total bare 31YZ mass.
- Project baseline: 12 V / approximately 3500 rpm.
- Preferred balanced direction: 2 CW + 2 CCW per four-unit group.
- 31YZ motors/generators are not included in this digital download unless a separate physical-motor listing is purchased.
Main M4 mechanism
- 2 × 3600 mm GT2 independent counter-running main loops.
- 4 × 466 mm, 4 × 200 mm and 4 × 176 mm local GT2 loops.
- Rail-guided inner and outer sliders.
- Double-pull transfer through the main-belt route.
- Positive Locks and wedge-driven 90° handover.
- Floating N20 centre drive with T70 one-way freewheel.
Build it and measure it
The files are supplied for 3D printing, prototyping, study and mechanical testing. On the assembled build, measure centre RPM, 31YZ shaft RPM, true belt transfer, belt tension, Positive Lock holding force, electrical input and generator output under load.
Performance note: electrical output, continuous-duty life and self-sustaining/perpetual operation are not guaranteed. Any claimed output must be confirmed on the physical build with simultaneous input/output measurements.
Safety
High-speed rotating parts, GT2 belts and mechanical locks can store significant energy. Use a rigid guard, current-limited commissioning and an emergency stop during powered testing.
Licence
Digital files are supplied for personal study, private modification and non-commercial prototyping. Redistribution, resale of the digital files, printed-part sales or commercial manufacture from the files requires Will Cole's written permission.
