FREE N20 GT2 Free-Spinning Direct-Drive Motor Mount – STEP + STL
Free NuiCent 3D-printable N20/GT2 motor-mount download.
This design combines a GT2 drive with a free-spinning/overrun arrangement and a four-hole direct-drive interface. It is intended to let the N20 drive the carrier directly while reducing rigid load transfer back into the N20 shaft and motor mount when the driven assembly overruns.
Included:
- Original STEP CAD file
- Combined ready-to-slice STL
- Separate STL for each of the 2 printable bodies
- Printing/readme notes
CAD check: two separate watertight solids, already aligned to a common flat print plane. Combined envelope is approximately 81.6 × 47.5 × 13.7 mm.
Printing: PLA is suitable for fit/prototype checks; PETG or nylon-type materials are preferable for repeated mechanical use. A sensible starting point is 0.20 mm layers, 4 walls and 35–50% infill. Check slicer support requirements around the internal free-spinning features.
Experimental part: verify clearances, free rotation, fastener retention and load capacity on your own printed build before powered use. The free-spinning feature is intended to reduce stress transfer; it does not guarantee against motor or gearbox damage.
